Pace Ranks #2 in the U.S. for Student Upward Mobility
Pace University ranked #2 in the nation for student upward mobility in a comprehensive study conducted by The Equality of Opportunity project and published by The New York Times. The study tracks students from nearly every college in the country. Colleges were "ranked by percent of students from the bottom fifth of the income distribution who end up in the top three-fifths." > more info
"This is Pace"
Pace University recently launched a new brand and image advertising campaign. "This is Pace" will aid in raising the public's awareness of the university. Over the next few months, print and digital ads will appear in major publications (The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal); social media; and on the LIRR, Metro-North, and MTA trains and platforms. The campaign features Lubin students Julian Alston, Shahzaib Khan, Cindy Nguyen, Brandon Roslak, and Matthew Silverman.

Henry George Distinguished Speaker
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., clinical professor and supervising attorney, Pace University School of Law's Environmental Litigation Clinic, will join Lubin's prestigious list of Henry George Distinguished Speakers on April 26. He will speak on "Our Environmental Destiny." A resolute defender of the environment, Time magazine has lauded him as one of its "Heroes of the Planet." Space is limited - please RSVP asap.

Lubin students have been invited back this spring for "Breakfast at Tiffany" on March 24, at the company's headquarters in New York City. Mark Erceg, EVP and CFO, Tiffany & Co., will provide an overview of Tiffany's history, financials, corporate strategy/marketing, and its main product lines.

The Pace Path is an individualized four-year program that combines academic and real-world experiences through purposeful planning and mentoring for undergraduate students. Field Study Trips
Field Study Trips
Through faculty-led international field study trips, Lubin students have the opportunity to learn more about global economies. In Spring 2017, students will travel to Brazil, China, and Scandinavia. During the Fall 2017 semester, students will travel to Brussels, London, and India. Scholarships for the fall are available to eligible Lubin students through the Figueroa Family Scholarship. > more info
ENTREPRENEURSHIP LAB
The Entrepreneurship Lab (eLab) will host a number of exciting events this semester. The Fourth Annual Entrepreneurs Roundtable, on February 23, gives students an opportunity to hear from entrepreneurs in different industries and in various stages of their businesses. The Mobile App Design Contest, on March 24, provides participants with an opportunity to create a concept mobile application using any tool or scripting programming language they choose. The Thirteenth Annual Pace Pitch Contest, on April 20, is based on the Elevator Pitch concept popular in the venture capital community.

Beta Alpha Psi Continues to Soar
Lubin's Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) chapter was selected this month to move forward to the second round of the EY Inclusive Leadership Award. BAP will also co-host the 2017 Atlantic Coast Regional Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. They were selected by Deloitte to compete against nine other chapters in the Community Outreach, Leadership Development, and Strategy Planning Best Practices categories.

Fast Track MBA in Marketing Management
The Fast Track MBA in Marketing Management is a new, innovative, and highly selective 39-credit program that can be completed in one year. It is offered on the New York City campus only. The Fast Track MBA in Financial Management is available on both the New York City and Pleasantville campuses. Priority applications are due by June 15.

Alan Eisner, PhD (management), co-authored the eighth edition of Strategic Management: Text and Cases, with Gregory Dess, PhD, and Gerry McNamara, PhD. The book, published by McGraw-Hill Education, provides solid treatment of traditional topics in strategic management and many contemporary topics.
