Course Description: This five-credit course is the second part of three sequenced courses, which introduce physician assistant students to the study of medicine and disease processes. Emphasis has been placed on the integration of the essential anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, microbiology, pharmacology and medical terminology relevant to medical problems encountered in the primary care setting. In PAS 602, the major content areas include obstetrics and gynecology, gastroenterolgy, endocrinology, neurology orthopedics, rheumatolgy and urology/nephrology.
