BIO 490 - Introduction to Research in the Biological Sciences
Required of all Biology majors in junior year. 3 lecture hours per week. Course Description: An introduction to the basic research and data analysis techniques used in the modern biological sciences. Discussion topics include hypothesis generation, methods of data presentation and utilization of proper statistical techniques based upon experimental design. Students will make presentations for group discussion on current advances and research in biology.
