Course Description:This course covers the theoretical background and practical techniques of sample preparation, operation of light microscopes, image acquisition and image processing. In addition, students will receive training on different microscopes; Polarized Light Microscope (PLM), Fluorescent Speckle Microscope (FSM) and stereoscope, which will facilitate their research involving Light Microscope in future. It also includes advanced topics, such as Non-Linear Microscopy, and the Superresolution Light Microscopy Techniques.
