HIS 113ME - The American Experience: The Colonial Legacy - Learning Community
Not open to students who have taken HIS 111. Old Core: Fulfills Western History. Satisfies 3 credits toward American Studies major. New Core: Fulfills 3 credits in Area of Knowledge II. Course Description: This course will explore the history of the United States from colonial times to about 1865. The English course will use literature (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama) from this period or set in this period to explore the individual experiences within the historical period being studied.
