Learning Community Course Description: "We the People" is a phrase from the Declaration of Independence. This course will explore the freedom of Americans to exercise their constitutional rights to protest. We will look at past protest in the post-9/11 era. What needs to be done to insure the rights of democracy and to live safely in our communities? Does security mean giving up the rights to privacy, free speech and assembly?
