POL 296Y - C-Span in the Classroom

Course Description: Using the latest technology, our class will join via video-conferencing with classes at Denver University and George Mason University in Virginia. We will explore timely issues in government, politics, and the media. This class will be using the extensive library of C-Span television and real-time interviews with some of the most influential political leaders and opinion makers in the United States. This class is a nationally recognized innovation in teaching political science. In this course students will learn the meaning of the terms "political junkies" and "political pundits" by entering the real world within the Washington beltway. 3.000 Credit hours 3.000 Lecture hours Levels: Undergraduate Schedule Types: Lecture, Tutorial, Video Conference Political Science Department Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels:            Undergraduate Prerequisites: Undergraduate level POL 111 Minimum Grade of D
