The B.A. in Biology degree program is designed for students pursuing a non-scientific career that may require significant background in the biological sciences, such as science education at the secondary school level, scientific journalism, scientific marketing/sales, and legal areas such as environmental and patent law. It provides a greater liberal arts background and the opportunity to take more elective liberal arts courses than does the traditional B.S. degree.
Students interested in teaching adolescents are encouraged to consider participating in an accelerated dual-degree program (Biology BA/Adolescent Education, MST) offered by Pace’s Dyson College of Arts and Sciences and School of Education.
