Fascinated by writing and interested in making a career of it? Undergraduate English majors who wish to make pragmatic use of the major may wish to pursue a dual degree. The Bachelor of Arts in English/Master of Science in Publishing program should be particularly attractive to students who have an abiding interest in literature and language for dynamic careers in magazine and book publishing. You must apply in your junior year and must have an overall QPA of 3.0 with an average of 3.2 in the major.

The publishing faculty consists of seasoned and working professionals, employed by Time-Warner, Random House, McGraw-Hill and other industry leaders. Alumni enjoy careers at HarperCollins, Berlitz, Scholastic Inc., Essence magazine, and Simon & Schuster.
