The Certificate in Politics allows students to create a concentration in state/local politics, American/national politics, or international politics with accompanying scholarly, academic, and civic education opportunities. It also will enhance liberal arts majors in areas such as Economics, Sociology/Anthropology, and Women's & Gender Studies. Students may pair required course work with pre-approved travel courses, independent studies, and internships in diplomacy, campaigns, human rights, the United Nations, and nongovernmental or nonprofit organizations.
