Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Economics, BA

Economics is fascinating. Our Bachelor of Arts in Economics program prepares you with the tools necessary for a better understanding of business, history, political science, and pre- law. You will also gain knowledge essential for comprehending current events and global issues that are complex and rapidly changing in today’s competitive global marketplace. According to the U.S. Department of Education, economics majors earn relatively high incomes, and are found at the top of many industries and occupations, such as finance, management, banking, teaching, and government. Our program also provides you with excellent preparation for graduate study in such fields as law, political science, history, criminal justice, anthropology, sociology, and economics. The rigor of our Economics program will enable you to compete successfully in an increasingly challenging world; yet it is flexible enough to allow you to meet your individual educational goals and fulfill your intellectual curiosity.
