Our Bachelor of Arts in English program in Pleasantville prepares students well for exciting and challenging careers in many fields: communications, publishing, public relations, education, human resources, and industry, as well as government and the not-for-profit sector. This major fosters the development of strong analytical and communications skills and, moreover, serves as a strong foundation for graduate professional study, including in the field of law. An opportunity to enroll in an accelerated dual-degree program - B.A. English/M.S. Publishing, B.A. English/MST Adolescents, or B.A. English/J.D. Law - is available to qualified majors. Interested students should meet with a departmental advisor early in their first year of study.
