Environmental issues touch most aspects of our lives. Dyson College's environmental studies program covers key issues (population, pollution, poverty, biodiversity, and resource use) with the goal of equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed to help find solutions. Our interdisciplinary approach provides the educational vehicle to thoroughly examine issues from a variety of perspectives - economic, ethical, political, historical, scientific, and theological. Our graduates have gone on to careers in environmental law, environmental journalism, and environmental education, and have worked as lobbyists on the state and federal level.
An opportunity to enroll in an accelerated dual-degree program - B.A. Environmental Studies/M.P.A. Public Administration or B.A. Environmental Studies/J.D. Law - is available to qualified majors. Interested students must meet with a departmental advisor early in their first year of study.
