Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Language, Culture, and World Trade

Be a part of one of the most innovative language degree programs that meets the ever-increasing domestic and international demand for business professionals who are linguistically and culturally fluent in more than one language, possess a sensitivity in conducting international business, and have some work experience in the international sector. Available on the New York City campus, Pace University's Language, Culture and World trade program provides a distinctive blend of interdisciplinary course work that combines extensive foreign language skill development in either French, Italian, Russian or Spanish; a geographic/cultural concentration in economics, political science, history, geography , and religious studies for North America, Europe, Latin America, or Asia; and a 12 credit "minor" concentration in either World Trade, Diplomacy, International Banking and Economics, or International Travel Industry.

Along with its theoretical component, this program emphasizes practice as it requires an international internship and a senior capstone course. Moreover, it will prepare you for a wide-range of careers (in international business, finance, law, trade, government, diplomatic relations, and education) and also for graduate study in language, law, or business. You will be encouraged to study abroad in a short or long-term program in order to experience the language and culture on a personal level.

On campus you may participate in a wide variety of organizations such as CIAO (Italian Club), Japanese Business and Cultural Society, The Spanish Club, and national honor societies, including Phi Sigma Iota (Foreign Languages), Pi Delta Phi (French), and Gamma Kappa Alpha (Italian).
