Are you fascinated with human behavior? Interested in helping others improve their lives? Our Applied Psychology and Human Relations program on the Pleasantville, Westchester County campus, nurtures your passion for people through the application of scientific methods and counseling skills. Courses such as psychological testing, personality, social psychology, introduction to counseling, and group work and interview techniques provide the intensive experience needed to pursue a career in counseling, education, or business. At our annual Psychology Conference during your junior and senior years you will be given the opportunity to learn how to present papers in a professional and scientific setting.
Qualified student majors in Pleasantville have the opportunity to participate in one of two accelerated dual-degree programs: Applied Psychology, B.A. and Human Relations with either Counseling, M.S. or Mental Health Counseling, M.S. Interested students should meet with a department advisor early in their first year of study.
