Undergraduate

Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Philosophy & Religious Studies, BA

Philosophy is the love of wisdom, the pursuit of knowledge, and critical analysis of what we think we know about ourselves, our society, and our universe. Understanding the beliefs and thinking processes of others makes our lives more meaningful. Pace University’s program in Philosophy and Religious Studies lets you combine a broad survey of major figures and ideas in philosophy and in major world religions with in-depth studies of those figures and ideas that you find particularly attractive. You’ll be able to emphasize either philosophy or religious studies and pursue a course of study that prepares for graduate school education or a rewarding career.

An opportunity to enroll in an accelerated dual-degree program – B.A. Philosophy and Religious Studies/J.D. Law – is available to qualified majors. Interested students must meet with a departmental advisor early in their first year of study.
