Law enforcement and private sector security continue to be two of the fastest growing fields of the decade. Our Criminal Justice program equips you with a solid foundation in criminal justice and other related disciplines that give you the opportunity to concentrate on either law enforcement or courts and correction. You will be encouraged to put your classroom experience to work by participating in two credit-bearing internships. When you graduate, you will be prepared for local police work, enforcement positions within the federal government, a career in private sector security, entry into the field of law, and for the correction field.
The Westchester County Commissioner of Corrections is the consultant to this department, bringing a considerable amount of expertise to this highly regarded program.
