Gone Fishin’:
Librarian Thomas Snyder Retires
After 30 Years of Service

For thirty
years, Reference Librarian Tom Snyder offered pleasant, high quality
reference assistance to library patrons on the
New York City
campus. However, on August 29, 2003, Tom handed in his keys to the
Birnbaum Library and settled into a well-earned retirement. “Gone
fishin’” is a sign that could be placed on his desk, because that’s
exactly what Tom is planning to do.
