Mission Statement

The mission of the Center for Global Business Programs is to enhance the global capabilities of Lubin students and faculty by providing high-quality academic and professional experiences, facilitating learning, and supporting applied research in the global environment.
 
[Brooklyn Bridge] Custom Programs
The Center for Global Business Programs provides international and domestic institutions an opportunity to differentiate their offerings through a New York City-based module. Custom programs range from a few weeks to a full academic year and are offered during all semesters, including the summer. The Center delivers a dynamic New York City experience that includes company visits and cultural events.
[Shanghai] International Field Study Courses
International field study courses provide students with the opportunity to gain international academic experience. Along with pre-trip classroom sessions, students travel abroad for up to two weeks, participating in corporate visits, meetings with governmental leaders and roundtable workshops with globally recognized academics. Destinations include countries throughout Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa.

International Travel Scholarships
The Center for Global Business Programs offers scholarships to Lubin students who are enrolled in international field study courses. These scholarships are made available through the Figueroa Family Fund and the Nancy and Gene Celentano Fund, and are awarded during the fall and spring semesters. To date, the Center has awarded over $400,000 in scholarships to eligible students who have demonstrated need and merit.

Awards and Affiliations
The Lubin School of Business was awarded 4 out of 5 Palmes by EDUNIVERSAL, an organization which ranks the top global business programs in the world. Lubin is also a member of EFMD, an international membership organization which offers a network of professionals and institutions from over 80 countries a forum for information and innovative management ideas.

Speaker Series: "Money & Morality: Maintaining Ethical Standards in Finance"
As the practices of the financial industry come under greater scrutiny in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, the French-American Foundation and the Lubin School of Business explored the role of ethics in business with Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Gretchen Morgenson of The New York Times and the Rev. J. Douglas Ousley of the Church of the Incarnation, where he provides moral and spiritual guidance to a congregation that includes many New York financiers. The two speakers addressed the challenges of constructing and following moral guidelines in an industry susceptible to greed and temptation. >> read more
