It also discusses creating safe and accessible streets for all users. In Section two, the document focuses on adopting tobacco-free policies under state and local laws. Section three discusses policies to allow greater community access to food in schools, improve land use planning policies and improve the local economy through farmers’ markets. Other points of discussion include, active living strategies, violence prevention and health equity. It also outlines health disparities by population group in Appendix A.
