Course Description: This lecture course provides an overview of common radiologic and other diagnostic procedures utilized in primary care. This includes instruction in basic radiographs, mammography, angiography, CAT scan, tomography, MRI, ultrasound and FAST, PET and nuclear medicine imaging. The associated costs, risk and benefits and discussed for the purpose of patient education along with basic interpretation skills for differential diagnosis formulation.
