Office Ergonomics
This training course reviews ergonomics in the office environment. Ergonomics is an applied science concerned with the design of workplaces, tools, and tasks that match the physiological, anatomical, and psychological characteristics and capabilities of the worker. The goal of ergonomics is to ‘fit the job to the person,’ rather than making the person fit the job in addition to reducing musculoskeletal disorders with employees. This workshop explores and presents the goal of ergonomics with proper body alignment performing work tasks while sitting and standing. The training will cover engineering adjustments involving the workstation, administrative solutions, and local resources.
