Lubin Ranks Highly in PayScale Reports  
In the 2015-2016 PayScale College Salary/Return on Investment (ROI) Reports, Lubin ranks in the top 6% for Best Graduate Schools, in the top 8% for Best Schools for Business Majors, and in the top 12% for Best Return on Investment on tuition. The reports examine how hundreds of graduate school programs rate by alumni salary; best jobs for business majors by salary potential; and best value colleges that provide high ROI for business majors. Lubin's position within these rankings demonstrates that we are providing students with the skills and experience they need for successful career outcomes.

Dean Neil Braun Featured in AACSB Video Series
Neil Braun is among the first deans selected for a new video series "AACSB Explores." He speaks about the necessity for innovation at business schools to prepare students for the competitive world they will face upon graduation. In addition to his many insights about the future of business education, he describes Lubin's ever-growing opportunities for students through industry partnerships, academic competitions, interdisciplinary collaboration, Bloomberg Essentials and Advanced Excel training, and uniquely relevant academic program offerings.

The Third Annual One Day Immersion in TV, Cable, and Digital Entertainment Collegiate Conference, presented by Dolly Wolf Enterprises, in association with Lubin, will take place on October 23. This full-day event will feature alumnus Joseph Ianniello '90, COO, CBS Corporation, as the keynote speaker; an exclusive lunch session with a media executive (for the first 100 people registered); panel discussions; and many networking opportunities. Registration is free to currently enrolled students, faculty, and alumni. Two media scholarships will be awarded. The application deadline is October 1.

Mark Besca '81, chairman of the Pace Board of Trustees and Ernst & Young's New York City Office managing partner, will be the Executive in Residence on the Pleasantville campus on November 3. During his tenure at Ernst & Young, Mr. Besca has served multinational clients, including Time Warner, Time Warner Cable, Warner Music Group, IAC/InterActive Corp., The McGraw-Hill Companies, Thomson Corporation, News Corporation, EMI Music, and Advanced Publications. Mr. Besca's EIR visit is sponsored in association with Lubin's Business Honors Program, the Lubin Business Association, and the Robert S. Pace Accounting Society.

[Publicis and Lubin Announce First Business Strategy and Data Science Case Competition]
Publicis North America, one of the largest agency networks, and Lubin have partnered to present their First Annual Business Strategy and Data Science Case Competition in November 2015. Four student teams will address real-life business problems faced by Publicis' clients and provide innovative solutions. Winners will be granted interviews for internships and full-time positions with Publicis. A briefing and networking reception will be held on October 28 where students can learn more about the competition. October 30 is the deadline for teams to register and take advantage of this dynamic opportunity.

EY Scholarship Winners
[EY Scholarship Winners]
This year, thanks to the generosity of Ernst & Young, a total of twelve scholarships were awarded to Lubin students. From the Westchester campus, Shawn Lunn, Imerlyn Ventura, Joseph Goldpaugh, Nick Ramos, Sarelia Dominguez, and Joe Cairo were recipients of the scholarship. New York City campus students Dorothy Wong, Andrea Reyes, Anisa Hadzibrahim, Claudia Yang Chan, Christopher Mitilian, and Guo Wei Wu were recipients of the scholarship. A dinner will be held on September 29 to celebrate the students and their accomplishments. The Ernst & Young Fund for Excellence in Accounting Education provides scholarship awards of $5,000 each to outstanding Lubin students in a qualified undergraduate or graduate accounting program.

Beta Alpha Psi Wins Big
[Beta Alpha Psi Wins Big]
Lubin's Iota Lambda chapter of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) won its fifth prestigious Gold Chapter award at BAP's Annual Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in August. Such an award is granted to only the top 15 of 310 chapters. The Lubin chapter also received a certificate of appreciation for their tax preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. The team's success doesn't stop there - the Lubin chapter also placed third in Ernst & Young's Diversity Competition. Congratulations BAP on your exceptional accomplishments!

The Inside Track series' first event of the 2015-2016 academic year will take place on October 6, featuring Kerry Kennedy, president, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. At the event, President Friedman will discuss equal justice and poverty eradication with Ms. Kennedy. Kerry Kennedy is an American human rights activist and writer who works for the promotion and protection of basic rights, and for the preservation of the rule of law. Registration is now open.

Lubin's signature fundraising event, Celebrate Lubin!, will be held on Tuesday, November 10 at The Harmonie Club in New York City. Steven Ku '91, COO and partner, Visium Asset Management, will be honored with the 2015 Alumni Achievement Award; Mark A. Torossian '05, '10, vice president, BNY Mellon Financial Management & Analysis, will be announced as the Recent Alumni Service Award Recipient. Proceeds benefit scholarships for Lubin students and projects selected by the Dean. Register today!

Alumni, current students, families, faculty, and staff are invited to Pace University's 2015 Homecoming and Family Weekend. Events will take place on both campuses: from October 15-18 in Pleasantville, and from October 21-24 in New York City. The weekend features a welcome reception, a family brunch, a Leaders and Legends dinner, and many other exciting events that combine nostalgia, pride, and excitement.

Ibraiz Tarique, PhD (management), has co-authored International Human Resource Management: Policies and Practices for Multinational Enterprises, fifth edition, with Dennis Briscoe, PhD, and Randall Schuler, PhD. The book focuses on international human resource management (IHRM) within multinational enterprises. It has been designed to discuss IHRM key topics in an engaging and approachable way. Overall, this new edition presents updated chapters and includes an expanded chapter on comparative and national culture.

The Center for Global Governance, Reporting, and Regulation develops programs to address critically important proficiencies essential for today's ultra-complex and rapidly evolving regulatory environment. The Center's Certified Compliance and Regulatory Professional (CCRP®) program launched a new cycle on Thursday, September 17, available in both in-person and online modes. This professional comprehensive certification program is led by veteran compliance professionals from the world's leading financial institutions, professional organizations, and top-level academic institutions. Announces Two
New Programs
Entrepreneurship@Lubin is excited to announce two new degree programs: an undergraduate minor in Entrepreneurship and a graduate MS in Entrepreneurship. These two new programs will provide students with the skills needed to establish, develop, and manage business ventures. These programs are in addition to the current undergraduate concentration in Entrepreneurship and the current graduate concentration in Entrepreneurial Studies.
