Biography

Dr. Kline teaches throughout the CS curriculum, from first-year programming through graduate courses in User Experience Design. He is also a fierce supporter and volunteer with FIRST, a non-profit devoted to engaging kids ages 6-18 in STEM activities around robotics.

      Desc: Oversee delivery of FTC robotics program to 600+ students in grades 7-12 to promote interest in STEM subjects
      Committee's Key Accomplishments: Have grown from 7 teams in 2010 to 70+ in 2015
    • Face Shields for First Responders [Program Organizer]
      Desc: Printed, assembled, and delivered more than 500 face shields for emergency medical use. Researched designs, acquired materials, found area organizations in need, and donated items in the name of Pace University and the Seidenberg School. Assisted in developing new face shield prototypes. Recipients included St. Joseph's Hospital Yonkers, Blythedale Children's Hospital Valhalla, Mt. Pleasant Police, Valhalla and Pleasantville Ambulance, and NYCMakesPPE. Funding provided by Seidenberg School.

      Desc: Co-organized and ran a full-day robotics badge activity for Cub Scouts in Hudson Valley NY Council, presented to over 50 participants.
